Jallikattu protest: Police attempts to evict people gathered at Marina Beach

The Tamil Nadu police attempted to forcefully evict hundreds of people gathered at Chennai's Marina beach in support of Jallikattu on Monday morning. Amid heavy security force deployment, roads nearby the beach were also closed. Though an ordinance has been recently passed over the bull-taming sport, the Tamilians have been demanding a permanent solution to the matter that had made headlines.
