‘Positive movement’ on India-Kazakhstan Uranium deal for higher imports

Kazakhstan’s Ambassador to India, Bulat Sergazyuly Sarsenbayev, confirms that the two nations are in talks to ink a deal for Uranium supply which would see an increased amount of the nuclear fuel being supplied to India’s reactors. In a conversation with Hindustan Times’ Foreign Editor Rezaul H. Laskar, the Kazakhstani envoy said that there had been ‘positive movement’ on talks between the two sides.
