Rahul Gandhi assures speedy justice to Una incident victim’s kin

Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi on Thursday met the kin of one of the Dalits who were attacked by 'cow vigillantes' for allegedly skinning a dead cow in Gujarat's Una town. A spate of violent protests spread from Una following the assault on Dalit men on July 11 for allegedly skinning a cow. The issue of Dalit unrest in Gujarat has rocked the Parliament as opposition members accused the ruling government of being anti-Dalit.
