Bharatiya Janata Party's Haryana unit inducted eminent personalities on Thursday. Wrestler Yogeshwar Dutt joined the party just weeks before Haryana votes to choose its next government. Former India Hockey captain Sandeep Singh also joined the party. Dutt is an Olympic bronze medalist and won a gold at the 2014 Commonwealth Games. He has been conferred with the Padma Shri (2013). Akali Dal MLA Balkaur Singh also joined the BJP. Haryana, along with Maharashtra, is slated to go to polls on October 21, Results will be declared by the Election Commission on October 24, 2019.
