200 new bikes for Delhi Traffic Police ahead of CWG
Yudhvir Singh Dadwal, Commissioner of Police of Delhi, on Tuesday announced that 200 more two-wheelers have been added to the traffic control squad to overcome traffic chaos in the national capital. This addition is of significance since India's national capital is all set to host the Commonwealth Games in October. 200 such motorbikes were added to the traffic police in 2008, and 200 more were added in 2009. This recent addition takes the number of traffic motorbikes to more than 600 in the capital.
