India to give legal assistance to Indians on death row in UAE

Foreign Minister S M Krishna on Tuesday said India is to provide legal assistance to Indians on death row in UAE. A court in the United Arab Emirates has sentenced 17 Indians to death over the killing of a Pakistani following a dispute involving illegal trade in alcohol, local media reported March 29. Krishna added that India would continue its efforts to rebuild Afghanistan.
