Amid trade war, China slams ‘US bullying’ as Trump targets Huawei
The government of United States of America's decision to place restrictions on usage of technology belonging to foreign companies considered 'threats' has irked China. The move is being seen as a bid to block Huawei's business with American firms. US President Donald Trump's administration has regularly accused Huawei of espionage. China called the move 'bullying and extreme pressure' which 'violates multilateral trade rules'. The two nations are also engaged in a trade war, with the US recently hiking tariffs on Chinese goods worth $200 billion and Beijing responding with a similar move on US goods worth $60 billion.
