For the second time after 2014, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has won the online readers' poll for TIME magazine's 'Person of the Year 2016'. He won 18% of the votes, which closed on Sunday midnight. The closest contenders of PM Modi were U.S. President Barack Obama, President –elect Donald Trump and WikiLeaks Founder Julian Assange. Facebook Founder Mark Zuckerberg and Democratic Party leader Hillary Clinton were far behind PM Modi by securing 2% and 4% votes, respectively. The final winner for the honour will be declared on December 7.
