President Barack Obama and family distribute food to the poor on Thanksgiving

President Barack Obama and his family distributed bags of food at Bread for the City, a center in Washington's Southeast that provides food, clothing and other services to the poor. The First Lady, daughters Sasha and Malia and Mrs. Robinson handed out food alongside the President to those served by the center.The President was reportedly in charge of handing out the sweet potatoes, while the rest of the family handed out cranberry sauce, canned mixed vegetables and fresh bread.
