Amitabh Bachchan thanks everyone praying for him, Abhishek, Aishwarya, Aaradhya: ‘My unending gratitude and love’
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aaradhya Bachchan also tested positive for Covid-19 on Sunday. The news comes a day after Amitabh Bachchan and son Abhishek were hospitalised after testing positive for the virus.
After Amitabh Bachchan and his son Abhishek Bachchan, actor Aishwarya Rai and her daughter Aaradhya have also tested positive for the coronavirus. While Amitabh and Abhishek are admitted to the hospital on Saturday after showing mild symptoms, Aishwarya and Aaradhya are asymptomatic. The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation has said they will take a written declaration from Aishwarya if she and her daughter want to be treated at home.
The Nanavati Super Speciality Hospital said that Amitabh is stable with mild symptoms and is currently admitted in an isolation unit. Amitabh, 77, said in a tweet on Saturday that he has tested positive and appealed to those who were in close proximity to him in the past 10 days to get themselves tested.
