Yogi calls on PM, BJP chief in Delhi

Calling Modi the visionary of ‘New India’, Adityanath said the prime minister’s guidance inspired him on the path of good governance

Chief minister Yogi Adityanath met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP national president Nitin Nabin in New Delhi on Saturday. An official spokesman confirmed that Adityanath, who was also on a tour of Western UP to shower flower petals on the Kanwariyas, met the two leaders in the national capital.

The chief minister’s meeting with the prime minister lasted about an hour.

Calling Modi the visionary of ‘New India’, Adityanath said the prime minister’s guidance inspired him on the path of good governance though he did not share much details about the meeting.

“Today, I had a heartfelt meeting with the visionary of ‘New India’, the esteemed Prime Minister Shri@narendramodi ji in New Delhi. Your guidance inspires me to remain ceaselessly dynamic on the path of good governance. Heartfelt thanks, Prime Minister ji, for granting this valuable time,” Yogi said in a post on X, roughly translated from Hindi, after meeting the PM.

About meeting the BJP national president, Yogi described it as a courtesy call. In his post on X, he wrote, “Today, in New Delhi, I paid a courtesy visit to the honorable National President of

@BJP4India, Shri @NitinNabin ji.”
