Chhattisgarh Election 2022: Ellisbridge Assembly Seat

In the 2017 Gujarat Legislative Assembly Election, there were 8 candidates in the fray from Ellisbridge constituency. Ellisbridge was one of 99 seats won by the Bharatiya Janata Party. It was a one way contest with Bharatiya Janata Party's Shah Rakeshbhai Jasvantlal (RAKESH SHAH) comfortably winning the election upstaging Indian National Congress's Dave Vijaykumar Ratilal by a huge margin of 85,205 votes.

The top two candidates split 97.3% of votes between them. Bharatiya Janata Party's Shah Rakeshbhai Jasvantlal (RAKESH SHAH) got a total of 1,16,811 votes, while Indian National Congress's Dave Vijaykumar Ratilal secured 31,606 votes. Bahujan Samaj Party's candidate Solanki Malabhai Hirabhai secured 2,144 votes to finish at the third place. The top three parties got 76.6%, 20.7% and 1.4% respectively.
