Chhattisgarh Election: Rajkot East Assembly Constituency 2022

In 2017, 12 candidates were contesting for Rajkot East assembly constituency seat. Rajkot East was one of 99 seats won by the Bharatiya Janata Party. Bharatiya Janata Party's Arvind Raiyani won the election by defeating Indian National Congress's Mitul Donga by a margin of 22,782 votes.

The top two candidates split 95.4% of votes between them. Bharatiya Janata Party's Arvind Raiyani got a total of 93,087 votes, while Indian National Congress's Mitul Donga secured 70,305 votes. Bahujan Samaj Party's candidate Gohel Madhubhai Arjanbhai secured 2,236 votes to finish at the third place. The top three parties got 54.3%, 41.0% and 1.3% respectively.
