Mizoram Election 2022: Patan Assembly Seat

In the Gujarat Legislative Assembly Election 2017, Patan constituency had 10 candidates for assembly seat contention. Patan was one of 77 seats won by the Indian National Congress. Indian National Congress's Kiritkumar Chimanlal Patel won the election by upstaging Bharatiya Janata Party's Desai Ranchhodbhai Mahijibhai by a margin of 25,279 votes.

96.9% of votes were split between top 2 candidates. Indian National Congress's Kiritkumar Chimanlal Patel secured a total of 1,03,273 votes, while Bharatiya Janata Party's Desai Ranchhodbhai Mahijibhai got 77,994 votes. Independent candidate Maheshwari Kanubhai Bhurabhai grabbed 1,758 votes to finish at the third place. The top three parties got 55.2%, 41.7% and 0.9% respectively.
