In 2017, 11 candidates were contesting for Mansa assembly constituency seat. Mansa was one of 77 seats won by the Indian National Congress. It was an extremely close competition, with Indian National Congress's Patel Sureshkumar Chaturdas narrowly winning the election defeating Bharatiya Janata Party's Amitbhai Harisingbhai Chaudhary by a vary little margin of 524 votes.
97.5% of votes were split between top 2 candidates. Indian National Congress's Patel Sureshkumar Chaturdas secured a total of 77,902 votes, while Bharatiya Janata Party's Amitbhai Harisingbhai Chaudhary got 77,378 votes. Independent candidate Prajapati Ashishkumar Atmaram grabbed 1,371 votes to finish at the third place. The top three parties got 48.9%, 48.6% and 0.9% respectively.
In Gujarat Assembly election 2012, Indian National Congress's Chaudhari Amitbhai Harisingbhai beat Bharatiya Janata Party's D.D. Patel by 8,028 votes.
