In the Gujarat Legislative Assembly Election 2017, Bhuj constituency had 13 candidates for assembly seat contention. Bhuj was one of 99 seats won by the Bharatiya Janata Party. Bharatiya Janata Party's Acharya Dr.Nimaben Bhaveshbhai won the election by upstaging Indian National Congress's Chaki Adambhai Budhabhai by a margin of 14,022 votes.
95.8% of votes were split between top 2 candidates. Bharatiya Janata Party's Acharya Dr.Nimaben Bhaveshbhai secured a total of 86,532 votes, while Indian National Congress's Chaki Adambhai Budhabhai got 72,510 votes. Independent candidate Sindhal Prakash Harilal grabbed 1,977 votes to finish at the third place. The top three parties got 52.1%, 43.7% and 1.2% respectively.
In Gujarat Assembly election 2012, Bharatiya Janata Party's Dr.Nimaben Aacharya outperformed Indian National Congress's Amirali Hajihushen Lodhiya by 8,973 votes.
