In the Gujarat Legislative Assembly Election 2017, Bhuj constituency had 13 candidates for assembly seat contention. Bhuj was one of 99 seats won by the Bharatiya Janata Party. Bharatiya Janata Party's Acharya Dr.Nimaben Bhaveshbhai won the election by upstaging Indian National Congress's Chaki Adambhai Budhabhai by a margin of 14,022 votes.

Bharatiya Janata Party's Acharya Dr.Nimaben Bhaveshbhai secured a total of 86,532 votes, while Indian National Congress's Chaki Adambhai Budhabhai got 72,510 votes.
