Mizoram Election 2022: Anjar Assembly Seat

In the Gujarat Legislative Assembly Election 2017, Anjar constituency had 12 candidates for assembly seat contention. Anjar was one of 99 seats won by the Bharatiya Janata Party. Bharatiya Janata Party's Ahir Vasanbhai Gopalbhai won the election by upstaging Indian National Congress's V. K. Humbal by a margin of 11,313 votes.

91.3% of votes were split between top 2 candidates. Bharatiya Janata Party's Ahir Vasanbhai Gopalbhai secured a total of 75,331 votes, while Indian National Congress's V. K. Humbal got 64,018 votes. Independent candidate Veera Haribhai Samantbhai grabbed 4,677 votes to finish at the third place. The top three parties got 49.4%, 42.0% and 3.1% respectively.
