Rajasthan Election 2022: Kapadvanj Assembly Seat

In the 2017 Gujarat Legislative Assembly Election, there were 7 candidates in the fray from Kapadvanj constituency. Kapadvanj was one of 77 seats won by the Indian National Congress. Indian National Congress's Dabhi Kalabhai Raijibhai won the election upstaging Bharatiya Janata Party's Dabhi Kanubhai Bhulabhai by a margin of 27,226 votes.

96.5% of the total votes were casted to top three candidates. Indian National Congress's Dabhi Kalabhai Raijibhai got a total of 85,195 votes, while Bharatiya Janata Party's Dabhi Kanubhai Bhulabhai secured 57,969 votes. Independent candidate Bimal Shah grabbed the third spot with 46,928 votes. The top three parties got 43.2%, 29.4% and 23.8% respectively.
