Rajasthan Election 2022: Akota Assembly Seat

In the Gujarat Legislative Assembly Election 2017, Akota constituency had 7 candidates for assembly seat contention. Total 99 seats were won by the Bharatiya Janata Party, Akota was one of them. The election for Akota seat was comfortably won by Bharatiya Janata Party's Seemaben Akshaykumar Mohile defeating Indian National Congress's Ranjit Sharadchandra Chavan by a huge margin of 57,139 votes.

98.1% of the total votes were casted to top two candidates. Bharatiya Janata Party's Seemaben Akshaykumar Mohile got a total of 1,09,244 votes, while Indian National Congress's Ranjit Sharadchandra Chavan got 52,105 votes. Nationalist Congress Party's candidate Nikhil Yatin Patel grabbed 1,027 votes to finish at the third place. The top three parties secured 66.4%, 31.7% and 0.6% respectively.
