Rajasthan Election 2022: Visnagar Assembly Seat

In the Gujarat Legislative Assembly Election 2017, Visnagar constituency had 9 candidates for assembly seat contention. Visnagar was one of 99 seats won by the Bharatiya Janata Party. It was a close contest with Bharatiya Janata Party's Patel Rushikesh Ganeshbhai winning the election upstaging Indian National Congress's Patel Mahendrakumar S. (MAHESH PATEL) by a margin of just 2,869 votes.

The top two candidates split 97.9% of votes between them. Bharatiya Janata Party's Patel Rushikesh Ganeshbhai got a total of 77,496 votes, while Indian National Congress's Patel Mahendrakumar S. (MAHESH PATEL) secured 74,627 votes. Independent candidate Patel Yateenkumar Hasmukhbhai (TEJASH) secured 1,048 votes to finish at the third place. The top three parties got 49.9%, 48.0% and 0.7% respectively.
