Rajasthan Election 2022: Khambhat Assembly Seat

In the 2017 Gujarat Legislative Assembly Election, there were 7 candidates in the fray from Khambhat constituency. Khambhat was one of 99 seats won by the Bharatiya Janata Party. It was a close contest with Bharatiya Janata Party's Maheshkumar Kanaiyalal Raval (MAYUR RAVAL) winning the election upstaging Indian National Congress's Patel Khushmanbhai Shantilal by a margin of just 2,318 votes.

The top two candidates split 96.3% of votes between them. Bharatiya Janata Party's Maheshkumar Kanaiyalal Raval (MAYUR RAVAL) got a total of 71,459 votes, while Indian National Congress's Patel Khushmanbhai Shantilal secured 69,141 votes. Bahujan Samaj Party's candidate Bhadrikkumar Hirabhai Solanki secured 1,499 votes to finish at the third place. The top three parties got 48.9%, 47.4% and 1.0% respectively.
