Rajasthan Election 2022: Katargam Assembly Seat

In the Gujarat Legislative Assembly Election 2017, Katargam constituency had 14 candidates for assembly seat contention. Total 99 seats were won by the Bharatiya Janata Party, Katargam was one of them. The election for Katargam seat was comfortably won by Bharatiya Janata Party's Vinodbhai Amarshibhai Moradiya (VINUBHAI NINGALA) defeating Indian National Congress's Jignesh Jivani (MEVASA) by a huge margin of 79,230 votes.

96.0% of the total votes were casted to top two candidates. Bharatiya Janata Party's Vinodbhai Amarshibhai Moradiya (VINUBHAI NINGALA) got a total of 1,25,387 votes, while Indian National Congress's Jignesh Jivani (MEVASA) got 46,157 votes. Aam Aadmi Party's candidate Nagajibhai B. Ambaliya grabbed 4,135 votes to finish at the third place. The top three parties secured 70.2%, 25.8% and 2.3% respectively.
