Rajasthan Election 2022: Petlad Assembly Seat

In 2017, 7 candidates were contesting for Petlad assembly constituency seat. Petlad was one of 77 seats won by the Indian National Congress. Indian National Congress's Niranjan Patel won the election by defeating Bharatiya Janata Party's Chandrakant Dahyabhai Patel (C.D.PATEL) by a margin of 10,644 votes.

The top two candidates split 96.5% of votes between them. Indian National Congress's Niranjan Patel got a total of 81,127 votes, while Bharatiya Janata Party's Chandrakant Dahyabhai Patel (C.D.PATEL) secured 70,483 votes. Bahujan Samaj Party's candidate Gohel Harshadbhai Ishvarbhai secured 1,684 votes to finish at the third place. The top three parties got 51.7%, 44.9% and 1.1% respectively.
