Rajasthan Election 2022: Ankleshwar Assembly Seat

In the Gujarat Legislative Assembly Election 2017, Ankleshwar constituency had 12 candidates for assembly seat contention. Total 99 seats were won by the Bharatiya Janata Party, Ankleshwar was one of them. The election for Ankleshwar seat was comfortably won by Bharatiya Janata Party's Ishwarsinh Thakorbhai Patel defeating Indian National Congress's Anilkumar Chhitubhai Bhagat by a huge margin of 46,912 votes.

The top two candidates split 97.7% of votes between them. Bharatiya Janata Party's Ishwarsinh Thakorbhai Patel got a total of 99,050 votes, while Indian National Congress's Anilkumar Chhitubhai Bhagat secured 52,138 votes. Independent candidate Shaikh Altafhussain Kaluahemad secured 1,216 votes to finish at the third place. The top three parties got 64.0%, 33.7% and 0.8% respectively.
