Rajasthan Election 2022: Palitana Assembly Seat

In the 2017 Gujarat Legislative Assembly Election, there were 15 candidates in the fray from Palitana constituency. Palitana was one of 99 seats won by the Bharatiya Janata Party. Bharatiya Janata Party's Baraiya Bhikhabhai Ravajibhai won the election upstaging Indian National Congress's Rathod Pravinbhai Jinabhai by a margin of 14,189 votes.

The top two candidates split 85.0% of votes between them. Bharatiya Janata Party's Baraiya Bhikhabhai Ravajibhai got a total of 69,479 votes, while Indian National Congress's Rathod Pravinbhai Jinabhai secured 55,290 votes. Gujarat Jan Chetna Party's candidate Gadhavi Pravinbhai Mulubhai secured 7,784 votes to finish at the third place. The top three parties got 47.3%, 37.7% and 5.3% respectively.
