Rajasthan Election 2022: Gandevi Assembly Seat

In the 2017 Gujarat Legislative Assembly Election, there were 3 candidates in the fray from Gandevi constituency. Gandevi was one of 99 seats won by the Bharatiya Janata Party. It was a one way contest with Bharatiya Janata Party's Patel Nareshbhai Maganbhai comfortably winning the election upstaging Indian National Congress's Sureshbhai Maganbhai Halpati by a huge margin of 57,261 votes.

96.9% of votes were split between top 2 candidates. Bharatiya Janata Party's Patel Nareshbhai Maganbhai secured a total of 1,24,010 votes, while Indian National Congress's Sureshbhai Maganbhai Halpati got 66,749 votes. Independent candidate Sunilkumar Kanjibhai Patel grabbed 6,077 votes to finish at the third place. The top three parties got 63.0%, 33.9% and 3.1% respectively.
