Rajasthan Election 2022: Mahuva Assembly Seat

In the 2017 Gujarat Legislative Assembly Election, there were 4 candidates in the fray from Mahuva constituency. Mahuva was one of 99 seats won by the Bharatiya Janata Party. It was a close contest with Bharatiya Janata Party's Dhodiya Mohanbhai Dhanjibhai winning the election upstaging Indian National Congress's Chaudhari Dr. Tusharbhai Amarsinhbhai by a margin of just 6,433 votes.

120.3% of the total votes were casted to top two candidates. Bharatiya Janata Party's Dhodiya Mohanbhai Dhanjibhai got a total of 82,607 votes, while Indian National Congress's Chaudhari Dr. Tusharbhai Amarsinhbhai got 76,174 votes. Janata Dal (United)'s candidate Gamit Manharbhai Lakhabhai grabbed 1,622 votes to finish at the third place. The top three parties secured 62.6%, 57.7% and 1.2% respectively.
