Rajasthan Election 2022: Dhanera Assembly Seat

In the 2017 Gujarat Legislative Assembly Election, there were 5 candidates in the fray from Dhanera constituency. Dhanera was one of 77 seats won by the Indian National Congress. It was a close contest with Indian National Congress's Patel Nathabhai Hegolabhai winning the election upstaging Bharatiya Janata Party's Desai Mavjibhai Maganbhai by a margin of just 2,093 votes.

95.7% of the total votes were casted to top two candidates. Indian National Congress's Patel Nathabhai Hegolabhai got a total of 82,909 votes, while Bharatiya Janata Party's Desai Mavjibhai Maganbhai got 80,816 votes. All India Hindustan Congress Party's candidate Rabari Tejabhai Nethibhai grabbed 2,802 votes to finish at the third place. The top three parties secured 48.4%, 47.2% and 1.6% respectively.
