Rajasthan Election 2022: Kalol Assembly Seat

In the Gujarat Legislative Assembly Election 2017, Kalol constituency had 5 candidates for assembly seat contention. Total 99 seats were won by the Bharatiya Janata Party, Kalol was one of them. The election for Kalol seat was comfortably won by Bharatiya Janata Party's Chauhan Sumanben Pravinsinh defeating Indian National Congress's Parmar Pradhyumansinh Vijaysinh (PANCHMAHAL ZEROXWALA) by a huge margin of 49,277 votes.

96.7% of the total votes were casted to top two candidates. Bharatiya Janata Party's Chauhan Sumanben Pravinsinh got a total of 1,03,028 votes, while Indian National Congress's Parmar Pradhyumansinh Vijaysinh (PANCHMAHAL ZEROXWALA) got 53,751 votes. Bahujan Samaj Party's candidate Giri Ramchandra Vaijnath grabbed 3,383 votes to finish at the third place. The top three parties secured 63.5%, 33.1% and 2.1% respectively.
