Rajasthan Election 2022: Shehra Assembly Seat

In the 2017 Gujarat Legislative Assembly Election, there were 4 candidates in the fray from Shehra constituency. Shehra was one of 99 seats won by the Bharatiya Janata Party. It was a one way contest with Bharatiya Janata Party's Ahir(BHARWAD) JETHABHAI GHELABHAI comfortably winning the election upstaging Indian National Congress's Chauhan Dushyantsinh Narvatsinh by a huge margin of 41,069 votes.

The top two candidates split 97.7% of votes between them. Bharatiya Janata Party's Ahir(BHARWAD) JETHABHAI GHELABHAI got a total of 1,00,383 votes, while Indian National Congress's Chauhan Dushyantsinh Narvatsinh secured 59,314 votes. Shiv Sena's candidate Gadhavi Lalabhai Gangdasbhai secured 2,268 votes to finish at the third place. The top three parties got 61.4%, 36.3% and 1.4% respectively.
