Rajasthan Election 2022: Mehmedabad Assembly Seat

In the Gujarat Legislative Assembly Election 2017, Mehmedabad constituency had 4 candidates for assembly seat contention. Mehmedabad was one of 99 seats won by the Bharatiya Janata Party. Bharatiya Janata Party's Chauhan Arjunsinh Udesinh won the election by upstaging Indian National Congress's Gautambhai Ravjibhai Chauhan by a margin of 20,915 votes.

92.9% of votes were split between top 2 candidates. Bharatiya Janata Party's Chauhan Arjunsinh Udesinh secured a total of 88,908 votes, while Indian National Congress's Gautambhai Ravjibhai Chauhan got 67,993 votes. Independent candidate Chuahan Juvansinh Gandabhai grabbed 9,813 votes to finish at the third place. The top three parties got 52.6%, 40.3% and 5.8% respectively.
