Telangana Election 2022: Thakkarbapa Nagar Assembly Seat

In the Gujarat Legislative Assembly Election 2017, Thakkarbapa Nagar constituency had 10 candidates for assembly seat contention. Total 99 seats were won by the Bharatiya Janata Party, Thakkarbapa Nagar was one of them. The election for Thakkarbapa Nagar seat was comfortably won by Bharatiya Janata Party's Kakadiya Vallabhbhai Gobarbhai defeating Indian National Congress's Babubhai Mavjibhai Mangukiya by a huge margin of 34,088 votes.

97.9% of the total votes were casted to top two candidates. Bharatiya Janata Party's Kakadiya Vallabhbhai Gobarbhai got a total of 88,124 votes, while Indian National Congress's Babubhai Mavjibhai Mangukiya got 54,036 votes. Bahujan Samaj Party's candidate Panara Pradipkumar Vasharambhai grabbed 981 votes to finish at the third place. The top three parties secured 60.7%, 37.2% and 0.7% respectively.
