Artist David Hockney, who last year sold a painting called Beverly Hills Housewife for $8 million, has applied his brush to dog bowls for an upcoming auction. Bonhams & Butterfields will auction bowls painted by Hockney on Nov 23 in Los Angeles and San Francisco, for charity. The auction house expects to get between $2,500 and $3,500 for each 11-inch, signed and dated bowl.
