Who would have thought worn-out, discarded stuff could be converted into some really cool pieces of art? His belief that even the most unproductive things can be brought to use, made Delhi-based artist, Gopal Namjoshi, come up with life-like installations of birds, insects, animals and human forms.
Titled Coexistence -Ecological Conversations, the exhibition has art pieces made out of rusted, damaged and dumped iron objects. "I am neither recycling nor reshaping the iron goods. I am just carving out good art pieces; it's my way of initiating a dialogue between humans and nature," says the artist, who took nine months to complete the pieces.

Namjoshi believes that junk weaves newer stories when it takes the form of art. He adds, "I took special care of the environment while working on these installations. I only welded the iron objects, I did not burn them, thus preventing carbon emission."
