BJP MLA Tukoji Rao Puar dies in Indore

The scion of the erstwhile princely state of Dewas and BJP MLA Tukoji Rao Puar died here at Apollo Hospital on Friday morning.

A close family member of the MLA's family, Dilip Singh Yadav, confirmed the death and said that the last rites will be performed on Saturday.

Yadav said that body will be put in the Rajwada area of Dewas on Saturday morning till 1 pm and then the last rites will be performed at Chhatribagh area of Dewas.

Puar who had served as minister in several departments in the BJP government was popular among the people of Dewas, situated some 30 km from Indore.
