More than 350 students of Bhopal scored 10 Cumulative Grade Points Average (CGPA) in Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) class 10 results declared on Thursday.
About 400 students scored CGPA 9 and above.
In Ajmer zone, as many as 98.04% students passed the exam.
According to information gathered from CBSE schools, about 96% students cleared the exam in Bhopal.
Among all the 65 schools in Bhopal, Delhi Public School students shined with 73 students scoring 10 CGPA. Carmel Convent Senior Secondary School stood second with 47 students scoring 10 CGPA and St Joseph Convent School secured third place as 44 students got 10 CGPA.
A meritorious student Prateek Jain said, "I am happy that I scored 10 CGPA but I really missed percentage system because it motivated us to do better and become topper of the class."
Delhi Public School principal Ajay Sharma said, "Students have performed brilliantly. The CGPA system has reduced competitive spirit but at the same time, it enhanced community service, leadership quality, the spirit of helping each other and other good qualities."
Carmel Convent School principal Sister Pavithra said, "Generally students say there is no merit list and list of toppers but it's good for the development of students because there is no comparison among students. Students can show their competitiveness and prove their abilities in class 12."

{{/usCountry}}Other schools which performed well in Class 10 results included International Public School, where 40 students got 10 CGPA and St Joseph Co-ed School, where 32 students scored 10 CGPA.
Besides 16 students of Sagar Public School, 15 of Army Public School, 14 of Sharda Vidya Mandir School, 13 of St Mary's Convent School, 10 each of Red Rose, Lamabakheda and Mother Teresa School, and six students of Bal Bhavan School scored 10 CGPA.
