The boy’s uncle happens to be a police personnel in Chhattisgarh posted at Sukma at present.

Fortunately, the principal of the school where the boy studies got a whiff of the kidnapping and he informed the boy’s parents who chased the woman and rescued the boy. The woman and another person have been arrested by Dewas police.

BD Beera, town inspector of police at Haatpipliya town said Rajani Gond, 23, kidnapped Shailendra Singh to take revenge on his uncle Yashwant Singh.

“Gond told police during interrogation that she came in contact with Yashwant through Facebook. They later exchanged their mobile numbers and started talking to each other. Gond claimed that Yashwant also proposed to her but for the past one month, he stopped talking to her,” said Beera.

The villagers also beat them up and handed them over to the police. Police are investigating the matter.
