Much was said about the impending box office clash between Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Ha Mushkil and Ajay Devgn’s Shivaay set to hit theatres this Friday. However, with growing protests against the former, buzz was that the film may not even release on time.

Ajay Devgn’s Shivaay and Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil are set for a BO clash on October 28.

But all of that is in the past now. Director Karan Johar, who returns to direction with Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, managed to persuade MNS chief Raj Thackeray and his supporters to ‘allow’ the release of his movie. The film is now set for a grand BO clash with Ajay Devgn’s second directorial venture.

Ajay has acted in, directed and co-produced Shivaay. The film also stars Sayyeshaa Saigal, Polish actor Erika Kaar, Vir Das, Abigail Eame of Doctor Who fame and Girish Karnad. The film shows a man’s fight for his family.
