Amitabh Bachchan did not want grand celebrations for his birthday this year. The family flew out to Maldives ahead of it. Now, Abhishek have given a sneak peek into a surprise celebration that held there.

Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan, who turned 75 on Wednesday, had written in his blog that he did not want to celebrate his birthday this year. Perhaps, it was for this very reason that he left the country ahead of it -- the family had planned a quiet holiday in Maldives. However, when you are with family, you cannot escape celebrations!

Abhishek Bachchan gave us a sneak peek into the surprise celebration that was held for his dad in Maldives. He shared a picture on Instagram wrote, “75 and still stylin’!!! Happy birthday Pa.” The photo shows a calm beach at night with “HAPPY BIRTHDAY” written in lights. Portions of Amitabh’s side profile are also visible in the image and we can see he is wearing shades.
