One of Hindi cinema’s earliest anti-heroes, Ashok Kumar was born on October 13, 1911 in Bhagalpur, Bihar. He stopped celebrating his birthday after 1987, because his younger brother and actor Kishore Kumar died on the same day. He died on December 10, 2001.
