Bhavesh Joshi Superhero song Chyavanprash has Arjun Kapoor as its secret ingredient

Directed by Vikramaditya Motwane, Bhavesh Joshi Superhero is a new take on Indian superhero. This will be Harshvardhan Kapoor’s second film after Mirzya.

A new song from Harshvardhan Kapoor’s forthcoming film, Bhavesh Joshi Superhero, is out and it features the actor’s cousin, Arjun Kapoor. The song titled Chyavanprash is a promotional number which won’t find a place in the film.

Harshvardhan tweeted about the song on Monday. He wrote, “Vitamin jaisa har andaz hai, Tere chumme mein Chavanprash hai... exclusively out on @ErosNow!”

The peppy dance number has been crooned by Divya Kumar, Pragati Joshi and Arohi Mhatre. The song also showcases sister duo Anusha and Shibani Dandekar grooving to the quirky lyrics.

The song has been shot on sets resembling an underground freestyle fight arena. Harshvardhan can be seen in the background seemingly in search of something.

Chyavanprash features parallel cutting between Arjun Kapoor’s pelvic thrusts and freestyle fist-fighting inside the ring. The dimly-lit set shows Arjun Kapoor replicating popular dance moves from the ‘90s Bollywood films, with girls dancing around him. she sports a shining jacket and gelled hair. In short, he adds all the Bollywood bling to the song.

Bhavesh Joshi Superhero marks Harshvardhan’s second outing on the silver screen where he turns social crusader in his fight against corruption. He debuted in Bollywood with Mirzya.

Directed by Vikramaditya Motwane, Bhavesh Joshi Superhero is a vigilante drama revolving around a young man’s quest for revenge and the discovery that he is destined for much bigger things.

Harshvardhan underwent intense training and learnt scuba diving for some action scenes in Bhavesh Joshi Superhero.

“I had to learn the basics of scuba for an underwater sequence in Bhavesh Joshi. It was quite stressful as we didn’t have much time so, I did what I could in the sessions that we had,” Harshvardhan said in a statement.

The film is slated to hit the theatres on May 25.
