Actor Deepika Padukone has reached the 70th Cannes Film Festival and she’s been making the most of her trip. The festival starts tomorrow and the actor seems to be all set for it. She opted for a comfortable look as she arrived at Cannes today.
Deepika left for the festival on Sunday evening and has already started posting pictures of her trip on Instagram. The Bajirao Mastani actor is expected to walk the red carpet on the second last day — May 27, for a beauty brand. “We have started planning. There is too much focus on clothes, but it should be fun. As a woman, we enjoy being ready and all of that. Clothes are exciting but there is more to it. It is something that my team is working on,” she was quoted as saying earlier.
Besides Deepika, actor Sonam Kapoor, who walks the Cannes red carpet every year, will be walking the red carpet on May 27. Actor Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who first walked the red carpet for Devdas in 2002, would be doing so this year too, for the same film, on May 19-20. This year actor Shruti Haasan and music composer AR Rahman will make their debut on the red carpet this year.
