For all the promise Shah Rukh Khan’s Fan held out on its opening day, it’s box office collection on subsequent days didn’t really set cash registers on fire. In an industry reeling under a string of also-ran films, the film couldn’t sustain its first day performance over the weekend, collecting only Rs 54 crore in three days. This, when its opening day figure stood at a Rs 19.20 crore.
