Has Katrina Kaif already replaced Priyanka Chopra in Salman Khan’s Bharat?

Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif have worked together in hits like Ek Tha Tiger and Tiger Zinda Hai.

On Friday, Ali Abbas Zafar announced on Twitter that Priyanka Chopra is not going to be a part of his forthcoming film, Bharat, that also stars Salman Khan. He tweeted, “Yes Priyanka Chopra is no more part of @Bharat_TheFilm & and the reason is very very special , she told us in the Nick of time about her decision and we are very happy for her ... Team Bharat wishes @priyankachopra loads of love & happiness for life.”

Katrina Kaif will soon be seen in Thugs Of Hindostan.

Now, a source has been quoted by DNA saying that Katrina has agreed to join the project. The source said, “Producers Atul and Alvira Agnihotri share a warm relationship with Katrina Kaif and when this whole mishap happened, they just called her and sorted out her dates. She will play the lead opposite Salman Khan now.”

However, Priyanka is still a part of Shonali Bose’s The Sky Is Pink. Priyanka will play a mother in the movie which also stars Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim. Roy Kapur Films shared a short video on their Instagram page of the crew getting together and ideating about the film. Priyanka joined the film earlier this month.

Bharat will hit the screens on Eid, 2019.
