Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur attracted a lot of attention when their film, Aashiqui 2 (2013), first came out. Not only were their performances appreciated, but their alleged affair also made headlines. However, both Shraddha and Aditya never spoke about their alleged relationship.

But, of late, Shraddha’s personal life hasn’t been in the news too often, and the actor is rather happy about this fact. “I want people to talk about my films; ideally, that is how it should be,” she says, adding that she finds this “obsession with a celebrity’s personal life very amusing”.
“But, I guess it’s part of this job. People want to know more about an actor’s personal life, and so, they come up with the stories they want. There’s nothing I can do about that. But, I still want people to watch my films, and talk about my work (smiles),” says the actor, who is riding high on the success of her latest release, Baaghi, which also stars Tiger Shroff, and was directed by Sabbir Khan.
The Bollywood actor insists that “whenever there’s anything in my life that I want to share, I will say it, and share it with the world on my own”. She adds, “Till then, I hope people enjoy my movies, because I spend my days and nights working on these films. It’s very simple for me; my life isn’t really about anything else. It is all about my films, my family and the few friends I have,” she says.

Interestingly, Shraddha will once again be seen opposite Aditya in an upcoming film that is being directed by Shaad Ali. Ask her how it feels to be working with Aditya again, and she says, “I enjoy his company a lot. He’s a very real person, and also a very good friend. It is great to be working with him again, since he is an amazing actor too. He is one of my most favourite people. Also, it’s exciting to do completely different characters from what we did in Aashiqui 2,” says Shraddha.
