I have to find the right script: Sonam Kapoor

Sonam Kapoor says she wants to take up a film that is worth her while.

Sonam Kapoor’s 2015 release, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, was a big hit. Then, earlier this year came Neerja. It catapulted the actor to the next level. But, after these box-office successes, Sonam hasn’t officially signed any film as yet. However, rumours suggest that she will star in her sister, Rhea Kapoor’s next production, alongside Kareena Kapoor Khan. “I have to find the right script. This will be my ninth year in the film industry, and I have done only 12 movies. So, look at my average (the number of films she does in a year). I have had two back-to-back releases. That’s a lot for me,” says Sonam, adding, “If I am doing a project, it has to say something and make a difference.”

The actor wants to take her time to announce her next project. “It will take me a while to understand what I want to do next, especially since it has to be worth my while,” she says.
