Is Akshay collaborating with Will Smith for a project? No, says the actor

Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna hosted an intimate dinner for Hollywood star Will Smith. Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Sonakshi Sinha, Ranbir Kapoor, Varun Dhawan were also invited.

This private dinner has got the public talking. Bollywood star Akshay Kumar and wife Twinkle Khanna hosted dinner for Hollywood star Will Smith at their Mumbai residence on Sunday.

“Will Smith arrived in India on Sunday, and decided to try out Punjabi khana. Will and Akshay have a friend in common. Akshay is known to not host or attend parties, but he made this exception. The dinner was an intimate affair with 12-15 people, including Akki’s sister Alka and husband, real estate honcho Surendra Hiranandani,” says a source.

“We sat down, discussed movies, music and more. We got clicked with Will but since we were only a few, it wasn’t a mad rush. We all sat down had great time,” says an attendee wishing to not be named.

Akshay, who is shooting for the Jolly LLB sequel in Lucknow, told us, “It was a very intimate dinner, there is nothing to talk about.” Is he collaborating with Will for a project?, we asked. “No, no, I’m not that lucky,” said Akshay.

The reason why Will is in India is still being speculated. Some say he’s here for an NGO. He is not accompanied with family and leaves India on Wednesday.

Interestingly, both Will and Akshay started their careers in Hollywood and Bollywood, respectively, in 1990. Akshay has delivered 125 odd films, whereas Will has done approximately 25 films. Men in black, The Pursuit of Happyness and Concussion are some of Will Smith’s popular films.
