Here’s the much-awaited trailer of Karan Johar’s Kapoor & Sons. Going by the looks of it, this may turn out to be the most engaging family drama of the year.
Directed by Shakun Batra of Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu fame, Kapoor & Sons has an impressive star cast which includes the likes of Rishi Kapoor, Rajat Kapoor, Sidharth Malhotra, Fawad Khan, Alia Bhatt and Ratna Pathak Shah.

One of attractive features of this trailer is the high emotional quotient that brings out the problems of a dysfunctional family. Rishi Kapoor plays the patriarch of the family who wants to see his entire family together before he dies, but this seems to be a difficult task as Fawad and Sidharth, who’re playing brothers, have an old score to settle. There are hints in the trailer that suggest that Alia Bhatt could be the bone of contention between the two.
