Choreographer-filmmaker Farah Khan was happy to host Happy New Year stars Abhishek Bachchan and Boman Irani on her TV show, Lip Sing Battle, when Katrina Kaif decided to surprise everyone. Katrina joined the trio on the sets and Farah couldn’t be more grateful.
Sharing pictures from the sets, Farah tweeted, “With my 2 favourites @juniorbachchan n @bomanirani on #LipSingBattle .. shooting is an excuse for catching up!! N what a catch up it is. My lovely Sheila ,Katrina cms to surprise @juniorbachchan on #LipSingBattle .. n Elvis leaves the building on seeing @bomanirani.”
Abhishek seems to have chosen pink as his theme for the show - he sports an all-pink attire in one of the pictures while a pink turban adorns his head in another. Boman, on the other hand, chose the legendary singer Elvis Presley as his theme. And Farah’s comment tells us exactly how good Boman was.

A source from the unit told DNA that the plan was to pit Abhishek against an actress. “Initially, the makers were thinking of having an actress opposite Abhishek, but Farah, who has directed Happy New Year, decided to rope in Boman as she felt the two have a great equation.”
While Boman and Abhishek were last seen in Housefull 3 (2016) and will soon begin work on Housefull 4, Katrina is gearing up for her next big release - Tiger Zinda Hai opposite Salman Khan.
