It’s been just a few months since Sridevi left the world a less beautiful place. The world is still reeling with the loss of a talented, incredible actor and her family and friends feel this pain the most.
Her 55th birthday comes at a time when the wounds have still not healed. However, we are sure her husband Boney Kapoor and daughters Janhvi and Khushi are trying their best to remember her in only fond memories. With the dawn of her mother’s birthday, Janhvi shared a special picture from her childhood. She did not post any caption with the picture but the happy smiles on everyone’s faces says everything.

{{/usCountry}}Sridevi was the perfect mother who doted on her daughters completely. Janvhi, who recently made her Bollywood debut with Dhadak, has often talked about the void her mother left in their lives when she died in February. Sridevi was in Dubai to attend the wedding celebrations of her nephew Mohit Marwah when she suffered a heart attack and died of accidental drowning. The entire country mourned her death for days and several thousand turned up to her funeral to pay their respects.
In an interview after her death, Boney said with a heavy heart, “She was suddenly gone. These past months have been very difficult. Everything went on a freeze-pause in our lives. There were so many things left unsaid and undone. Now I am finally picking up the pieces again trying to put my life together for my children’s sake. There were things that were put on pause. I am trying to resume my life. I am yet to come to terms with the fact that she’s gone forever.”
Sridevi also talked about her daughters and the limelight they share for being a part of the family. “I’m concerned about my children being so much in the media. I would’ve been happy if Jahnvi would all of a sudden star in a movie. Now, she is already in the media. But yes, the times have changed, so you better accept it,” she told HT in June 2017.
